The governing documents of La Quinta at Barkley Ranch Estates HOA set the rules and structure that keep our community a desirable place to live. They protect property values, define homeowner rights and responsibilities, and establish how the Association is run. Every resident is encouraged to read them.
The Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions are recorded with the county and run with the land. They define what homeowners may and may not do with their property, covering everything from exterior modifications to landscaping standards. Our CC&Rs were most recently amended in 2023.
The Bylaws govern how the Association itself operates. They cover Board elections, meeting procedures, voting rights, officer duties, and the day-to-day administrative rules that keep the HOA functioning properly on behalf of all homeowners.
The Articles of Incorporation are the legal foundation of the Association. Filed with the State of Arizona, they formally establish the La Quinta at Barkley Ranch Estates Homeowners Association as a nonprofit corporation.
