Architectural Review

The Architectural Review Committee works to maintain the consistent, attractive character of our community. The review process is straightforward, and the Architectural Review Committee is here to help.

How the Review Process Works

1. Complete the Architectural Request form. The form is available on the Forms page and the link below. Include a complete and detailed description of the proposed work. 
2. Submit the completed form to the Architectural Review Committee. Follow the submission instructions provided on the form.  The Committee reviews the requests on a regular basis. 
3. Wait for written approval before beginning any work. Do not begin construction, painting, landscaping, or any other exterior modification until written approval has been received from the Committee.

Before submitting a request, please review the relevant standards and guidelines available in the documents section below. These resources include:

• Architectural Standards: the rules governing exterior modifications throughout the community
• Approved Paint Colors: the palette of approved exterior paint colors for homes in La Quinta
• Approved Trees & Plants: vegetation suited to our community and consistent with the La Quinta landscaping standards

Reviewing these resources before you submit your request can help avoid delays or revisions.
